In this post-modern age, with the advance of Atheism and Islam into Europe there is a definite call for missionaries to come to Europe with the gospel. Currently we are only partnered with
a missionary to Scotland but we are looking for different ministries so that we can partner with to reach further into Europe with the gospel.
Scotland is one of the four nations that make up the United Kingdom. Historically the church has been strong in the United Kingdom, but in the post-modern world the general feeling towards the church’s teaching is that it is "intolerant" or “irrelevant”. Christians are starting to see the signs that serious persecution could be on the way, but many opportunities exist as well. In Scotland we are partnering with David and Agnes Mitchell who are heading to Scotland for three years. They previously pastored at Bay Community Church in Comox, BC for a total of 15 years. David will be receiving further equipping for ministry at the Edinburgh Theological Seminary while Agnes studies Gaelic, which is the heart language of many of the Highlanders of Scotland. While in Scotland the Mitchells will also be living on mission and loving and serving the church as God opens doors.
