Over the years we have done a variety of projects in Uganda.
Uganda, with a population of about 25 million people, is strongly
Christian — some 80% claim to follow Christ. The nation
was devastated
under
the reign of Amin and Obote with unrestrained terror, murder, tribal
warfare and corruption. Internal fighting still continues – please
pray for peace.
Currently we are working with Pat Kokura of Port Alberni B.C. to
establish a ministry to street children in Mbarara.
 Summer 2005 she was able to purchase land and is currently setting
up a ministry to care for needy children of south-west Uganda.
Pray for her as she trains up workers, and helps them build a love
relationship with the boys and girls of the streets. Many could still
be in school if assisted with school fees. All need the love of Jesus.
If you would like to sponsor one of these street children at $25.00
a month it will assist them to finish their education, and give them
new hope and a future.
