Denise ElliotIn 2008 Denise Elliott of Chatham, Ontario was approved by Into All The World to develop a children and youth program in Peru.

Denise, a trained school teacher, has taught in Ontario, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. She has a burden for the children and youth of Peru and has a burning desire to bring them hope.

Denise and MartinIn 2009 she and Martin Ramirez were married and together they are developing "Centro Ruhamah" in the mountain village of Huaricolca, Peru (six hour drive east of Lima). Denise and Martin look forward to developing the centre.

Classroom being builtAlso in 2009 their supporters sent funds to build the first classrooms for the children and youth. The building in the background is the Good Shepherd Free Methodist church - their partners in this vision.

The vision is to build a centre where children and youth can come for help with homework, to have a safe and stimulating environment, to make good friends an learn from the Bible.

Denise with little childWe plan on offering Sunday School classes and Bible studies for youth as well as regular lunches. We plan to have special community nights to build community and friendships. We hope to have classes for parents about nutrition, child rearing, sexual education and any other topics that will be of interest to them.

Children playing gamesDown the road we may also have quarters for homeless children and teaching vocational skills such as carpentry, mechanics, baking etc.
