Back to Projects
Into All The World began to work in Kenya in 1981 upon an invitation
from Glad Tidings Crusade to train National Leaders. We now work
with several different Christian organizations within the country.
Much of Kenya has been evangelized, providing a strong base for
outreach to neighboring countries. We work in the remote regions
and Muslim
areas to preach Christ, plant churches, and train workers in Christian
living and discipleship.
Some of the unreached tribal groups we are working with include
the Bajun, Boni, Borana, Daasanach, Digo, Gabbra, Massai, Munyoyaya,
Orma, Pokomo, Rendille, Somali, Sakuye and Turkana. These tribes
tend to be in the remote areas of the country, many of them are
nomadic,
and many consider themselves to be traditionally Muslim.
Bicycles
We have provided a number of bicycles for needy pastors to help
them visit the various villages and churches where they minister.
In Kenya,
a sturdy, road-worthy bicycle costs about $100 and is invaluable
to getting anywhere. Pastor Eugenio is a
pastor working amongst the Akamba people of Kenya. He oversees close
to twenty churches. His bicycle is a great help to travel from
place
to place. We have a number of pastors who as yet do not have
a bicycle. If you would like to donate a bicycle or give money
towards
one,
please contact us! AIDS is taking the lives of an estimated 900,000 adults in Kenya.
We work with several orphanages in Kenya through child
sponsorship,
missionary
support and acting as a conduit for volunteers.
REHEMA – Bukura Children’s Home
In 2006 Ian and Lynne White built the Rehema-Bukura children’s home. We are now receiving sponsorships for children at $35.00 a month for their care. Bukura is a small town in western Kenya. Not far from Nakuru and Lake Victoria. A duplex has been built which will care for 24 children with two house mothers.
Rehema is the Swahili word for mercy. We rejoice that we can show God’s mercy to these abandoned and orphaned children some of whom are HIV positive.

Pentecostal Evangelical
Fellowship of Africa
Joseph Mophat oversees much of the work we
are doing in Kenya. He is a pastor with PEFA (Pentecostal Evangelical
Fellowship of Africa) and has studied at Elim Bible School in
Lima, New York and Luther Rice seminary in Atlanta, Georgia.
He has a powerful testimony, and he is an excellent preacher
/ teacher. We are working with Joseph to start a branch of Rehema
House Orphanage in Kakamega, Kenya.
Haven of Hope – for abused women.
Lynette Ondiko, a recent graduate of Nairobi Pentecostal Bible
College has started a ministry for abused women in Kenya.
Her Haven of Hope has monthly meetings for the women as
well as
a counselling service. We assist Lynette with regular financial
support for this new and needed ministry.
WESTERN KENYA – Kenya Evangelistic Teams.
Pastor Adriano Simiyu oversees the work of about 75 churches
in Western and Nyanza provinces of Kenya-up into the Turkana
area. We share in support of several national evangelists
as well as providing logistical support of bicycles, Bibles,
literature
and monthly support. Rev Enoch Nelson of Windsor Ontario
was involved with the starting of this mission and we carry
on
the work that he started.
NAIROBI PENTECOSTAL BIBLE COLLEGE
We have opportunities at N.P.B.C. for qualified teachers to
teach one semester a year in various subjects. Rev Don and Christina
Hannaford of Woodstock, Ontario, recently taught the Gospel
of John at the school. It was a highlight of their life of
service to Christ.
SUDAN REFUGEES on KENYAN BORDER
The principle of N.P.B.C. is Rev. Dr. Isaiah Dau. He is from
the Sudan. Each holiday term he goes into the refugee camps
on the Kenyan border and teaches Bible courses. Promising
students he brings to the college. We assist with scholarships
for needy
students.
